Colona Memorial Day Weekend

All of the family went together to the Colona Memorial Day festival.  Skylar rode the rides with her friend Kyle, and Marcus and Carter went on the big slide.  Tom and Ted had a battle for who could throw the fastest picth, but Tom ended up winning.  The next day, Tom and I drove the truck in the parade that carried all of the military flags, and Sky rode in the back seat.  She waved out the window like she was a queen with her big sunglasses on.

Tom and I had our wedding reception at the Colona Legion and invited 100 friends and family to join us.  We had a karaoke dj and my dad catered the food.  My best friend, Becca, made me the most wonderful cake in the world!  It was such a fun night and we are so glad so many people could be there to share that with us.

Steve got his license

Today was a wonderful day in the eyes of a 16 year old Steve Timbrook.  He got his driver's license!  Now that white Mustang convertible that has been sitting in our garage will see many hours of topless days and nights with Bullet for My Valentine blaring from it's speakers.  Although he doesn't look too thrilled in this photo, he is thrilled.

It was a bit chilly at the game, but luckily the rain stopped just before the first pitch!

Our Vegas Honeymoon

Tom and I went on a honeymoon over my spring break to Las Vegas!  We spent a week there, and stayed at The Grandview Las Vegas (our timeshare) for 3 days and The Luxor for 3 days.  We rented a car and drove to Hoover Dam, saw Martin Lawrence live at The Palms, met a Playboy centerfold, raced a Nascar, and had a romantic ride in the gondola at The Venetian. Our visit to the Pawn Stars pawn shop worked out well for me, Tom bought me an amazing ring that I now wear as my wedding ring! It was an amazing week and I spent it with the best man in the world.  Thank you honey for such an amazing honemoon!!!

Celebrating New Years 2011
